ABOUT
Carlos is the founder of CMC Law. He was born in Lisbon in 1983. He studied law at Faculty of Law, University of Lisbon, graduating in 2006. As a student he went to Strasbourg to study in Robert Schuman Universtity and he also did two interships in the Office of the Portuguese Judge in the European Court of Human Rights and in the Council of Europe, both in 2006.
In this same year, Carlos went to the College of Europe, in Brugges, where he gained a Master’s Degree in European Legal Studies (LL.M).
On graduation, in 2007, he moved back to Lisbon and joined Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associado, working mainly on Antitrust, Competition, European Law and Media Law as a Junior Lawyer .
In 2010, Carlos started his own law firm and since then, he has been devoting his time in different practices that includes International Trade Law, Corporate Law, Maritime, EU & Competition Law, and Environmental Law.
His professional experience also includes advising in a wide range of areas, notably, Pharmaceutical Sector, IT, Environment, Chemicals, Media and Advertising, Transport & Logistics.
He also plays tennis and loves travelling.
